MATT is a Christian, geek, and nerd all wrapped up in one. He is fascinated with learning new things especially when they involve computer security. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and is employed as a full-time Information Systems Auditor at a Fortune 100 company. Outside of his profession, he enjoys comic book movies, playing Nintendo Wii, and most importantly spending time with friends and family. The best way to get him away from the computer is a good camping trip or mountain bike ride.

LAUREN is a Christian full time employee of State Farm. She is working towards completing her college degree in photography. She enjoys spending time with Matt and participating in all the adventures. In her spare time…which isn’t much…she enjoys reading, artwork, and playing with Ty, her nephew.

About This Site

Welcome to M and L Adventures. This blog started out as Matt and Lauren’s personal blog where you could find photos and stories about us and our friends along with the descriptions of any adventures we imparted on. Over time the site has transformed to focus on more technical information such as computer security, product reviews, and great how-to tutorials. Occansionally, I still share personal adventures and rants along the way while Lauren has started her own blog, Vance Tales.

For the geeks like myself who are intersested in such things, the foundation of this site is a Wordpress CMS running on an Apache Web Server, backed by a MySQL database.
