MATT is a Christian, husband, father, security engineer, and an all around über geek. He is fascinated with learning, especially when it involves knowing Christ better or technology. He has a degree in Information Systems and is employed as a Security Engineer at a Fortune 100 company. The best way to get him away from the computer is a family outing, a good book, or a hiking trip.

LAUREN is a Christian full time employee of State Farm. She is working towards completing her college degree in photography. In addition to participating in all the adventures, she enjoys spending time with Matt. In her spare time…which isn’t much…she enjoys reading, artwork, and playing with Ty, her nephew.

This blog started out as Matt and Lauren’s personal blog where you could find photos and stories about us and our friends along with the descriptions of any adventures we imparted on. Over time the site has transformed to focus on more technical information such as computer security, product reviews, and how-to tutorials. For the geeks like myself who are interested in such things, the foundation of this site is WordPress. It’s installed on an Apache Web Server, backed by a MySQL database. PHP is also heavily used along with many WordPress Plugins.
