vConvert.net has an interesting and potentially very useful tool available to “convert an Online Video like ‘YouTube videos’ to more popular formats like wmv, mov, mp4, mp3, 3gp etc.” This is a simple idea for a site but it servers a real need for our media saturated world who desires to be entertained at all times. The functionality appears to be quite simple though I have yet to try it. All you have to do is submit the URL of the video you wish to convert, the format you wish to convert to, and wait for the service to complete the conversion. Once complete, they offer you a link to download the converted file. Enjoy!
