I’m headed to Vegas! I’m attending IT Security Audit and Control Essentials by SANS training all this week. I’m actually flying out early so I can have time to see some sites. This will be the farthest west I’ve ever been (up to now, Denver was the farthest), so it’s going to be cool. Don’t worry, I don’t have any plans to gamble. Vegas wouldn’t have been my first choice for a location since I don’t gamble and all, but nonetheless it will be cool. This weekend I plan on seeing some sights before the classes begin. I want to see the Hoover Dam, drive up to Utah to Zion National Park, and lastly Death Valley. I’m sure it’s going to be fun. The SANS class should be really cool. I hear they’ve got some of the best courses and that you learn a lot. Hopefully, I’ll learn at lot for work since that is why they’re sending me!

So, if you don’t see any new post for a week or so, you’ll know that I’m neglecting the blog while in Vegas. I’ll still moderate and respond to comments. Now, off to Vegas I go!
