Once again I’m on a business trip. As most of you all know, I just graduated from college and have started my first “real job.” As an Information Systems Auditor I do a fare amount of travel. My company has facilities all of America (a few in Europe) and it is the internal auditor’s job to make sure facilities’’ systems meet the Corporate standards and controls.

So far, I’ve been pretty lucky with locations. My first trip was to Florida, though I wasn’t close enough to see the ocean. Now, I’m at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Right after work I changed clothes and headed to the beach. Not too bad for a business trip.

It isn’t as good as it sounds because I do have to work all day, so my free time is limited. But I’m not complaining. The beach here is very nice and family oriented. It wasn’t too hot tonight either; especially with the continuous ocean breeze.

The worst part about business trips is being away from friends and family. Luckily I do not travel alone, so I’m not totally by myself. But I still miss the people back home.

Denver is next on the list. I think I’ll really like Denver because I love mountains and it will be my first time to be close to the Rockies. I must say that I’ve had pretty good locations so far.
