I originally planned on writing a post comparing Google Analytics to StatCounter. However, rather than wasting time to reinvent the wheel by writing reviews that have already been done by fellow bloggers, I decided to just provide a list of some good reviews for the more popular website statistic solutions.

Special Note: Since this post was originally going to be my thoughts regarding Google Analytics vs StatCounter, let me conclude by saying that I think I like the power of Google Analytics and the simplicity of StatCounter. Overall, Google Analytics wins because of the unlimited log size and sheer amount of stat info available.

You’ll kick yourself if you shell out cash for Mint before checking out W3Counter.
Dan: Thanks for pointing W3Counter out. I hadn’t heard of it before, but it looks cool and free is good. If I were going to use something other than Google Analytics for my blog, I would have to give W3Counter a try before paying for Mint.
Thanks for the comment. If you know or think of any other good blog tools let me know.
